Whether you are considering attending our church or have already come and want
to learn more, we are glad you are here! Our church is on a
continual journey of growth and change, new things are happening but we
are also rich in history. Our service includes traditional hymns and
contemporary worship, as well as teaching. We teach the Bible as the
ultimate authority and believe in Jesus alone for salvation.
WHO: We are a mixture of people from all walks of life. People come to church dressed
in suits, jeans, khakis, skirts or dresses. Please come as you are, we
are more interested in your journey with the Lord than the way you look!
WHEN: Sunday morning worship services are at 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM, which includes intentional worship and sound teaching. In addition to the services, we also offer Life Groups hosted on different days of the week and various locations. Life Groups are focused on connection and discipleship in a smaller group setting, in an environment designed to create a stronger relationship with each other and the word of God.
WHERE: We are located at 40 W. Main Street, Broadalbin NY. Parking is available behind
the church. If you
need assistance or extra time dropping off someone with special needs
please pull in the front driveway on the left side to park temporarily.
WHY: We exist to glorify God and enjoy him forever! This means we want all to know who
He is, what He has done, and how to live as a result. We do not do this
perfectly but we welcome all to join us as we learn to love and serve
our Savior, Jesus Christ.
WHAT: This year has provided our leadership team with the unique privilege of assessing our ministry year with a fresh perspective. Our goals continue to be to gather together for mutual encouragement and refreshment and to seek ways to glorify God in our community and abroad. While we have scaled back on our events and calendar, we still believe we can be creative in the way that we approach this year as we obey the commands in scripture to build up and to encourage each other in the faith.
The leadership team has set out to focus our energy in two main areas: Connection and Discipleship. We believe that connection is a foundational aspect of the church and whether we are gathering on a Sunday morning, or in homes that this is the greatest gift of the local church. In a year that could potentially limit our big gatherings, connection through Life groups and personal discipleship is key to the health of the individual as well as the corporate body.
Life groups are the heart of our church in many ways as they encourage community and a deep connection through the a deeper study of Sunday morning sermons, the ministry of prayer and mutual edification and accountability. Life groups provide much more than what you might receive on a Sunday morning alone. They are made up of men and women, middle school, high school and young adults and they meet twice a month in various locations and times.
Seeing that our children’s ministry will be the most obvious area affected by the nature of this year, we would like to see even our youngest worshipers enjoy some time of teaching and discipleship during life group meetings. We will be providing curriculum for select small groups with a rotating schedule of teachers who will help your children gather with students their age , enjoy fellowship time while growing in their walk with Jesus. We feel confident that this will be a blessing to entire families as we study and grow together into deeper walks with the Lord.
